Massachusetts raised Niia Bertino may not be entirely new to the music industry, but after the success of EP Generation Blue, 2013 single Made For You and touring with Wyclef Jean, Bertino is destined for great things.

With music in her roots, the 27 year old grew up with a classical pianist mother, opera singer grandmother and several Juilliard educated aunts - so looking for musical inspiration was not difficult. Performing in family concerts and raised in a strict Catholic school, Bertino won a place at New York’s New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Despite dropping out after one year and paying her bills by singing advertising jingles, the then 19 year old met Wyclef Jean and sang on his 2007 hit Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill) and toured the world with him. Since working with Jean, Bertino has gone on to record several EPs and singles and is continually making music and performing for her dedicated fans.
